Whether you own/manage one property or 100 plus, Experian is probably the best option for you. This platform is fast and easy to use and there is absolutely no paperwork or site inspection required. The credit report you receive is a full consumer credit report providing you with a comprehensive look into your applicant’s credit history. This includes:

• Verification of personal information including name, address, SSN and date of birth
• List of credit accounts which includes:
  • Date of opening
  • Account balances
  • Past due amounts
  • How many times overdue
• Public records if available. These can be liens, judgments, collections and bankruptcies
• Inquires – name and dates of companies that have inquired into your applicant’s credit history

FREE REPORTS – When you choose Experian, you have the option to have your applicant pay for the report. When you do, there is no cost to you!

NO POINTS DEDUCTED from your applicant’s credit score. Experian is a 2-part process where you request the report and your applicant then responds to the request. Your applicant consents and authorizes for their consumer credit report to be pulled and given to you. When they do this, no points are deducted from their credit score!

YOU CAN ALSO ADD ON OTHER REPORTS. You can also request a criminal background search, an eviction search and an employment & income verification report at the same time you request an Experian credit report. This will give you a thorough and comprehensive look at your applicant’s credit worthiness and tenant worthiness. And again, if you choose for your applicant to pay, these reports are also free to you!

How does it work?

Landlord signs up and Sends request. You create your online account with TVS. Once created, you choose the reports you want, and a request is automatically sent to your applicant.

Applicant applies online. Your applicant securely provides TVS with the information required to identify them and process their reports.

TVS processes the reports. As soon as your applicant provides TVS with their electronic consent and Authorization, their reports are processed.

Landlord receives reports. Results are securely delivered to your TVS account. You will receive an email notification to let you know they are ready.
